Young SKAL Success Stories

Cindy Prisco

Cindy PriscoBeing a part of YOUNG SKAL opened many doors for me; it provided me with one on one contact with many industry professionals. Though the many networking events I began to see which parts of the industry interested me and which did not, the business professionals I met helped me a lot with my decision to follow the path I did.

Having YOUNG SKAL on my resume showed my employers the professionalism I possessed as well as being a team player. The SKAL members introduced me to so many people over the course of three years; it really helped me get my name out there. Now when I attend events with my current job I know at least 10 people in the room thanks to SKAL!

Lauren Lavacca

lauren-lavaccaMy name is Lauren, and I’m a junior at St. Joseph’s College studying Hospitality and Tourism Management.

SKAL has helped me grow my career in the industry.

They were kind enough to send me to Arkansas for the Young Skal Symposium.

This experience helped me to learn more about the industry, network, and create opportunities for myself in the future!

Being a member of SKAL has not only introduced me to so many great people but helped me land my job in hospitality.

I met my boss, Debbie Forth, at my SKAL induction in college, we kept in touch and now we work together.

SKAL leads you to great opportunities.
